Behold, the nonya kueh! Sweet chewy goodness made of bean and coconut, and usually available at the counter of your friendly local Asian grocery for $3-4 a pop.
This one is from Miracle (the Asian supermarket at the bottom level of World Square, near the Coles / Puffy shop that sells yummy durian icecream puffs).
Oh and exciting news! We bought a new tube of toothpaste today - it is minty blue, white and green Triple Action Colgate. Hence the minty colour scheme... haha

Unfortunately this is not really nonya kueh. I suspect they are Vietnamese sweets, but a bit similar to nonya kueh.
